Completed Days Gone recently, here is some intense gameplay taking on a horde!

Dragon Quest Builders 2 – GOTY!

So much fun, lots of quality of life improvements over the first game make it a joy to play.

Completed – Mafia 3 (PS4)

Not posted in a while, I'm still gaming & completing lots of games!

Just look at this list! 36 Games completed! I have been forgetting to add mobile games that I have played in the past.

Mafia 3 finished this weekend, driving is real fun in this gmae & it has no fast travels points which I liked. Set in the 1960s with racial tensions & gang violence you play as Lincoln Clay who returns from a tour in Vietnam to the city of New Bordeaux.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is out soon so I will be spending a lot of time on that otherwsie it is a lot of Fifa 19 with a little bit of Horzion Turbo Chase & Infamous Second Son.

The Sparta Kick!

One of the most fun abilities in video games, I give you the Sparta Kick!
That satisfaction when looking at your foe fall to their doom.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4) – What a way to end the year!

Completed - easily one of the best games this generation with an amazing narrative & enjoyable open world to explore.

It’s been a good year for me having completed 14 games.

Battlefield 1 (PS4)
Walking Dead New Frontier (PS4)
The Division (PS4)
Assassins Creed Origins (PS4)
Telltale Batman (PS4)
Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle (iOS)
Mad Max (PS4)
Ni No Kuni 2 (PS4)
Stardew Valley (PS4)
Hidden Agenda (PS4)
God of War (PS4)
Final Fantasy XV (PS4)
Qube Directors Cut (PS4)
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
Cities Skyline (PS4)

Some great games especially God of War, Stardew Valley, AC Origins & Game of the year possibly generation in Red Dead Redemption 2.

I’m still gaming.

It’s been a long time since my last post, I’m still gaming & have completed

Ni No Kuni 2 (PS4) - Enjoyable JRPG with gourgeus visuals

Stardew Valley (PS4) - No idea how or why but I helped my daughter on her game & got hooked myself! Very addictive.

Hidden Agenda (PS4) - Very short local party mode affair not really that good.

God of War (PS4) - Excellent game best so far this year until RDR2. Great story telling, characters & action.

Final Fantasy XV (PS4) - Chaotic combat, boring mundane Sidequests & a main plot which is all over the place. Hopefully the next Final Fantasy will get back to the greats of 6 to 9.

Qube Directors Cut (PS4) - Nice short puzzle game.

Waiting for RDR 2 to be released so not playing anything longer than a few hours, I also got rid of the PSVR just was not playing it.

Gaming Update

Image result for ni no kuni 2

I'm still gaming, since my last post I've completed The Division (the claptrap boys PMG game that has taken us an age to complete), Assassins Creed Origins (an excellent return to form for the ubisoft series), Telltale Batman (the telltale engine is really showing its age lots of technical issues & crashes but hey it's Batman) & Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle (I had completed the main campaign & started to focus on the events to upgrade my deck but my ipad decided to die on me & unfortunately there is no cloud save feature with DBZ & I have lost my progress. Lesson learnt I will not play any iOS game that does not have a proper save feature be it local or icloud).

I have just completed Mad Max this weekend which was good fun, I really enjoyed the bleak open world with the convoy missions being a particular favourite. Next is Ni No Kuni 2 where I have played a few hours, gone is the turned based combat in favour of a more free-roaming affair. It is gorgeous in 4K with it's Ghibli inspired art style.

Until the next update enjoy your gaming.

The Walking Dead – New Frontier (PS4) – Completed

Telltale do know how to make a good story & season 3 of the Walking Dead is just as good as the previous seasons. Some surprises along the way & a nice cameo from a character from the tv show.

Game #2 completed & the next game is Assassin's Creed Origins.

Battlefield 1 (PS4) – Completed

Off to a good start on the 52 game challenge, Battlefield 1 completed. Some of the campaign missions were difficult especially The Runner missions where I was playing that section wrong and trying to kill the enemies on route when you simply had to leggit!!

Really enjoyed the Tank & Plane missions.

Next game is Telltale's The Walking Dead New Frontier.

52 Games in a year

I spent way too much time last year enjoying films instead of playing video games, I am going to try and reverse that this year by playing more video games in fact I am going to try for 52!

This is going to be almost impossible looking at the number of completed games in previous years. 2017 (13), 2016 (22) & 2015 (17) but I am up for the challenge.

I've started with Battlefield 1 (Campaign mode) enjoying the war stories. The tank & plane missions were good fun but the game also shows the horrific side of war. Surprisingly I also watched Dunkirk yesterday (can't totally give up on watching films just limiting them to 1 or 2 a week).

On my list so far I have Prey, Flower (which I have never completed), Wolfenstein 2 & Abzu.
DLC content does not count it will have to be a full game.
