I wanted to take a break from playing Need for Speed Payback to enjoy Sayonara Wild Hearts, Its a short experience just over an hour to play through this musical album. Game play has different sections on endless running, shooting, flying & driving. There is a score challenge to get gold rank on the stages which is very difficult to do on the first attempt but can be achieved with multiple playthroughs.
41: Why Don’t They Squirt Games At Me
With more than three years of episodes in the bag, you’d have thought we’d have said all of the words about games by now, but apparently not as here is Episode 41 to prove it.
This time round, deKay (who is suffering from Man Flu or something, so please excuse his unusual voice), Jaimie, Toby and Luffer throw words about on subjects like the PS5 teardown and digital game transfers, Oculus and Facebook and how Bad Things Happen should you try to separate the two, and The State of Stadia. And some games, because that’s the point of the podcast, I suppose:
- Star Wars TM Squadrons EA TM
- Among Us
- Animal Crossing
- Super Mario Sunshine
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Spider Solitaire
- Genshin Impact
- Beat Saber
- Divinity Original Sin 2
Plus some other things as we get sidetracked as usual. And Listener Questions, of course. It’s a good episode, Brent.

Sniper Elite 4 (PS4) – Completed
There is something satisfying about playing a sniper in a video game, taking your time to line up a shot and then bang! Headshot!
Sniper 4 let me enjoy those moments time after time to ensure I get that need out of my system for good.
Game completed & onto Need for Speed Payback.
PS5 will be arriving soon & Ghosts of Tshushima has been patiently waiting to be enjoyed.
Entwined (PS4) – Completed
A nice short game where you control a bird & a fish over many lifetimes. One with the left stick & the other with the right, move both sticks in the directions of oncoming portals and collect orbs along the way. When your energy bar is full you can create a link and complete the stage.
It's a very relaxing game and over in a couple of hours.
Next, I am still working my way through the PS+ game I want to play so Sniper Elite 4.
40: Unfortunately It Doesn’t Have Holly Valance In It
Or Phoebe Waller-Bridge for that matter. But what this episode does have, is Graham Goring from off of making games and the long-missed Pig Ignorant Indie Gamers podcast. Since they never reached Episode 40, we thought he could share ours. It’s up to you to decide if that was wise.
This episode, deKay, Graham, and semi-regulars Toby, Kendrick and Luffer chat about recent PlayStation 5 reveal news, Microsoft tipping their pennies on the table at yet another load of game developers, Amazon’s attempt to better Google Stadia, the woes of pre-ordering hardware, actually pre-ordering hardware, pre-ordering new Nvidia 3000-series graphics cards, Apple’s App Store Rules, Harry Potter and the Boycott of His Game, and Yakuza. Yakuza the film, rather than the game though. Although probably the game too. Also! These games!
- Animal Crossing
- Lego DC Super-Villains
- Lego The Incredibles
- Super Mario 64
- Super Mario Sunshine
- Shadow of War
- Spelunky 2
- RPG maker MV
- Trials of Mana
- PC Engine Mini
- Retron HD (those two aren’t games! Ed.)
- Hitman
- Hitman 2: Hitman Harder
- Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice VR
Plus all the standard deviations and world beating waffle. Why not listen, eh? You might like it.
